My choices - need a push...

Okay, I have finally narrowed it down to 2 options for my diamond and 2 options for my band. I would like to see what you all advise (of course I will make the decision myself, however a little push never hurt anyone

)

DIAMONDS:
1.057ct, SI1, H, AGS 0, "A Cut Above" from Whiteflash.com for $5953.00
1.017ct, VS2, H, AGS 0, "A Cut Above" from Whitelfash.com for $6257.00

According to the "diamcalc" the 1.057ct barely performs better (0.3 points...)

SETTINGS:
Platinum X-Prong by Vatche with Matching Band $1760.00
Platinum X-Prong Channel by Vatche with Matching Channel Band $3485.00

Not sure if I should go with the more "simple"/"showcase" look with the plain setting or the more "ritzy" look with the channel diamonds on the setting. If you guys know of any better options for the settings, I''m all ears

Well, if the SI1 is eyeclean, I say go with #1, as an ACA is most likely a stunner in any color, and probably even in SI1!!!

As for the ring, I am not a fan of channel set to match, so I would say you can get a simple solitaire, and channel set wedding band, that way if you don't have the e-ring on, you still have some pizazz.

Also, if you are buying for your fiance, shouldn't she give input on what kind of wedding band she likes? You don't have to get it right away, you know... just a thought... Good luck!!!

I have gotten her input on what bands she likes. This is how I narrowed it down to the two. She likes both the simple and the channel

Does the Channel Band match up with the non-Channel setting? Thought they had to be together (channels with channels and non with non)... Thanks again!
