I am a Cartier addict...I am trying to start a collection of Trinity jewelry...hopefully they will be my xmas or b-day gifts from my bf from now on
I have the tri color ring which has the bezel set diamonds, but it is in the lock box with pieces too valuable to have around the house (learned the hard way a few years back how thieves and precious jewelry don''t mix).
I need to practice taking pics of the diamond...it is really unique...it was given to my GM in 1946...and old cut and you can see a second table? which is cut near the bottom tip of the stone...I have yet to capture how flashy and sparkly the stone really is...jewelers stop me everytime I go shopping to take a peek at it more closely. I am thinking about redesigning it as a RH ring since I am single and it has a tendancy to deter would-be suitors!!!
gorgeous rings, I love the trinity collection by Cartier! The cut on your solitaire is amazing--at first I thought it must have been the lighting until I read about it being your grandmother''s ring. I think setting it as a RHR is a fantastic idea!
I can see why these are your favorites, as they are beautiful! How nice it is to have a ring from your GM, especially since the stone is a nice example of its era. I also like your Trinity ring and I hope to get one myself soon.
