Almost perfect: I want to raise the culets by ~2mm from the bottom of the trellis so there''s a good amount of airspace. I think that will make the bottom of the trellis look more bowed, too, as opposed to almost straight with curved tips..
Your ring is going to look beautiful!!! Not that you need my input on this, but I think you made the right call in having the diamond raised such that the culet is more visible. I think doing so will really make the lines in your ring look even more elegant.
I like the proportiosn and also agree that a slight raise to the center will make the lines from the pavilion view more pleasing, and it will make the center stand out more from the sides, too, which can''t hurt.
I'm glad to hear second opinions on the stone height, too... I've been tossing so many things back and forth in my head, I sometimes wonder if I've decided on anything..
New cads due Wed
Though WF still doesn't have my stone back from GIA so the timeline is still up in the air. Fingers crossed!!
