my CAD for my halo ering, any feedback really would help me!

Hi,

This is my first CAD for my blue sapphire which is 8x5mm 2.08ct with tdw of 0.42ct for the halo and half diamonds on each side of the band (platinum). Really wanting advice about the sapphire itself, originally I wanted it to stick out slightly but was advised this would be unsafe. Also the prongs are quite big and long. I am advised by the Jeweler that they can cut them, set the stones and then polish the excess away. Other thing I don't like is that the band is not the same width all way around, which makes it uncomfortable.. any advice would be so appreciated along with any of ur erings you could post.. below is my sapphire, last in the row.

hi i wish i knew how to help!
my friend has a similar ring and she hasn't had any issues with her stone sitting higher, i attached a pic for reference!
also, you might get more responses posting on the rocky talky forum...?
