My Blue Tahitian

I am excited to share my first Tahitian pendant, and it was just completed and arrived today. I purchased the blue pearl it last summer. I wanted something lighter around my neck for the Summer in-lieu of my Tahitian strands in the mid-west heat. The pearl measures 14 mm, very near round, AAA.

I really struggle with findings, but like the beaded edge on this one in the 14k yellow, it gave it a regal look to me. I also purchased a new cable chain locally and really like it. I am showing the blue pearl on my 1990's rope chain. The pearl is heavy so for today it feel it is better on the rope chain. Hope it doesn't look dated with this chain.

The pearl look green/blue in the pictures, with pink. IRL it is looks blue to me more blue on the bottom. The pearl is not as blue as the very first photo that the vendor sent. I am ok with that, compared to another pearl I purchased that is med green it looks blue. My pictures keep turning, they have never done this before. Its so cloudy and dark, I might try pictures another day.

Frost, that's a wonderful pearl! I love the color, and I am a big fan of ropes...they were quite popular in Victorian jewelry, and your pendant finding kind of looks a bit Victorian to me. I really like it! I was actually looking at that finding, trying to decide wether or not to purchase...I may have to order!

Frost, that's a wonderful pearl! I love the color, and I am a big fan of ropes...they were quite popular in Victorian jewelry, and your pendant finding kind of looks a bit Victorian to me. I really like it! I was actually looking at that finding, trying to decide wether or not to purchase...I may have to order!

Seaurchin, I can't decide what length to get maybe 24", 30" would stick out on bust line too much, and 36" would bang and hit I would think. What length are you thinking?
