My Birthday Present

I am 39 today, last year of my thirties and what better way to celebrate than a new old ring!

There is a little coin shop not far from us that also sells some jewelry on Ebay. Spotted this pretty ring in their EBay shop a week ago and thought if it doesn't sell maybe I'll go take a look. The pictures online were absolutely horrible, needed to see it in person so made our way over this morning.

He had this ring and a transitional which was really pretty but quite a bit more than I wanted to spend and it wasn't that much bigger than the mine cut. Tried the mine cut on and took it outside and it was gorgeous! Made a deal and took it home. Love the slightly irregular shape, it really gives the diamond character.

It is .40 carats old mine cut G color (although it has a tint but not much) VS2. The ring is a size 6 so it needs to be resized but for now I can squeeze it on. Sorry if these come out big I did resize them!
