It’s been a while in the making, but they are here and I love them!
I lost one earring of my second set whilst cleaning it at work a while ago. I searched everywhere and could not find them.
After some time, I contacted insurance to see if they would replace them. Fortunately, our policy covered accidental loss! The search was on!
I am an old cut person... these are small earrings, and I wanted them to pack as much punch as my OEC and princesses. OECs were my first choice, but given the size I was after-3mm, I thought it might not be blingy enough.
I thought about MRBs. They really are not my thing.. then I thought, if I wanted MRB, I should get something special. I thought of the BGD blues. I had a budget to stick to so I rang BGD. Lesley was super helpful. She told me it is not a usual request, but it is possible... so she helped me get the size I wanted and in the budget I had to work with! Thanx, Lesley!!!
After a few false starts with stones that did not have fluorescence, then stones with mismatched fluorescence- we finally ended up with stones that are pretty close with fluorescence!
Stats:
each diamond : 0.1ct signature melee f colour
Strong fluorescence
Platinum martini settings
Push backs.
Seen here paired with my E colour 0.51ct Princesses in (new) platinum chevron settings.
I also took a picture of the earring in with the UV Light- just for fun. It didn’t work out... but thought I share with you guys!
