My beautifully blemished akoyas from Etsy

[MissStepcut]

I posted about wanting to get misshapen/blemished pearls that were still beautiful, which lead me to a Japan-based Etsy seller, Kjeweljp.

I will let the pictures speak for themselves but my experience with this seller:

Pluses: timely, responsive, I think very honest pics.
Minuses: I asked them to string the pearls with a clasp but they didn’t knot between the pearls, so I will have to get them re-strung.

Guide for viewing the photos: I included my new-to-me Keshi pearls from PP (by way of seaurchin), a 22k gold necklace for color reference, and some cheap rosy cultured pearls.

Gorgeous luster on all your strands. I prefer baroque Akoyas because they are different and beautiful. Love how the light picks up the different overtones in your Akoyas.

Look at it as part of the anticipation and excitement and that way it's not so bad. Anticipation can be sweet when you're anticipating receiving a beautiful piece.
