My beautiful engagement ring!

Hello all,

Here is my beautiful e-ring! 1.25ct VS1 royal asscher, completely colorless

Set in 14k white gold with .5ct total D-E VS1-2 sidestones: one kite set princess and five channel princess on each side of the asscher.

Sorry about the very amateur photos. I had to take close to 100 shots to get a few this good. In real life, though, the facets on the asscher are extremely sharp and clear, and it shines and sparkles like mad in all lighting.

Okay! Now that I have a few minutes.

I had originally really, really wanted a Verragio setting. I''d tried on all kinds of settings and nothing worked for me. Solitaires made my short fingers look like I was 6 years old playing dress-up. 3-stone rings swallowed half my finger. I found a Verragio setting online that I really loved. It had pave diamonds on every surface--the prongs, all sides of the band, everything. I showed my sweetie the setting I wanted, and hoped for the best.

Without my knowing, he went to see the Verragio setting in person. He realized that it simply had way too much bling for my fingers--if I''d ever gone and tried it on, I would have known that too. So, instead, he custom designed this. And I have to admit--it is PERFECT for me! He was right--the Verragio setting would just not have looked right on my small, short fingers.

I have to admit, I''m very impressed that he did it all by himself.
