What color and clarity is it ? oh and does it look large? I have an asscher 1.55ct color E vs1 and it looks about a carat because of the deep cut. How about yours ?

Love this!

That looks like a very clever setting. It looks like the gallery tapers in near the shank so you will have a very nice flush fit for your wedding band. Is that how this ring is made? I really like the setting, especially the pave around the basket. Very, very nice!

Beautious! I especially love the "fishtail" pave paired with the Asscher ... never seen that done before but it's GENIUS. The more subtle glimmer of that kind of pave will complement rather than detract from or "out-bling" the step-cut center.

The rock is DEEEE-lish too!

ETA: oh oh oh oh, Mr. Kotter (ha!) ALSO - I just noticed how the fishtail pave makes a thinner visual line from far away, so it ends up looking like a giant HUNK of ICE on a teensy tiny band ... yet, has more heft & security *actually*.

This setting shows such INGENUITY and RESTRAINT I think I might have to call it MY CURRENT FAVE!!!!

The little knobs are sizing beads. I have large knuckles in relation to the size of my finger. They''re quite painful when taking off/putting on, but keep the ring from sliding around quite so much.

It's 2.0ct, color E, vs2, maybe it doesn't look quite as large as most 2 carats due to the deep cut? It faces up pretty large. I have had so many people say that they've never seen an asscher. Most people are quite taken with the deep "stair step" look! I will post a picture with the band. Have to sneak it though...the wedding isn't until April and my fiancee doesn't want me trying it on!
