As for band ideas -- I know someone with a vintage ring, a la same era as yours, and she has a band that was made to match that fits around hers. But, if you want a band that can be worn alone but still works with the time period of your ring, I''d check out www.antiqueengagementrings.com and looks at their bands. The owner is fabulous to work with.
