I have been studying (lurking) Pricescope for a few weeks now in search of a diamond ring to mark my 20th anniversary. I knew nothing about diamonds but this site has been a wonderful resource. So much information, but I still felt like I needed to see, compare, and try on. Fortunately my ring shopping coincided with a family trip to New York City! I decided to pay a visit to I.D. Jewelry because of the variety of settings shown on their website and, of course, the good feedback on this site. I called a few days before my visit and Yekutial asked me to send him some links or style numbers. The first stop when we arrived in New York was I.D. Jewelry. My whole family got involved in the selection of my diamond and setting. Yekutial was a pleasure to work with, showing us trays and trays of settings, answering all of our questions about the diamonds, and working within my budget. He even encouraged me to select the lower priced of two diamonds we had narrowed it down to, a little smaller, but he showed me the difference in the light reflection and sparkle and the IS, and pointed out that the two small inclusions were on the outer edge. We had a great experience at I.D. Jewelry. I am thrilled with my ring, it is so white, sparkly, and beautiful! I''m posting a couple of pictures that Yekutial sent me. My own hand shots didn''t turn out very good.
