My 5-stone 1.5ct wedding band!!!

After drooling over tons and millions of wedding bands on PS, I finally decided on my own and went with a 1.5ct five-stone wedding band!! I plan to wear it on my right hand, separate from my e-ring... not so traditional, i know, but I love the look of my e-ring on its own and love having some bling on my right hand as well!!!

Each stone is 0.3ct, G colour, set in 18K gold... They are so sparkly and white in person, it almost looks more white than my F colour ering! Here it is, enjoy!!

It's a size 5.25! I actually tried on various 5-stones rings to figure out how many carats will provide enough finger coverage!

I didn't get this from a PS vendor... My uncle owns a wholesale pearl business in Asia, since they have their own factory, I got them to make the ring for me during my vacation in Asia

Anything to help my fellow PSers! Here you go, I JUST took some for ya! (It's actually my first time wearing it together, LOL ) But with my 5-stone, I would not wear it with another ring, because the girdle of the stones are actually "exposed" so if I wear it with another ring, I think I'll run the risk of chipping the stones when the rings hit against each other. A tiny spacer band might help though.

I'm a big fan of Leon pieces on this forum..and I always read that he is against wearing more than 1 ring on the same finger... he wrote a few paragraphs on his site about the potential issues and resolutions!

Forgot to mention that I on purposely asked the stones be set higher, not only does it look bigger, but I love how you can see the shape of the diamonds so clearly from the side I also requested that the prongs/"v-shape lines" be as thin as possible (while being safe) so they are proportional to the stones

Yes it is still holding up super well, I haven't had to replate it. There are some minor scratches in the bottom from normal wear...but other than that it's still nice and shiny I have only been wearing it for 2 years though, we didn't get married until 2012

oh that is good to hear. I just want to get an idea roughly how many years do you need to replate it once. But 2 years and still holding up well is even better news.
