My 3 year anniversary present.. 2.5ct Imperial yellow topaz

Hey guys, while we were on our anniversary/ late honeymoon trip to Cancun Mx., my hubby surprised me with this ring. Since my engagement ring is a FLY diamond with pink diamonds around it, we talked about upgrading to a FY or FVY ring on our ten year anniversary so I never expected another ring until then. He told me that he figured this would "hold me over until we get a bigger yellow diamond". I am truly blessed! (Please ignore the scars on my hand, they are from a bad accident years ago)

Thank you all for the kind words. I really love the topaz, the colors it picks up are simply amazing. I had never seen a setting quite like this either, and I can honestly say I was really impressed he picked it out on his own.


P.s. thanks for the comment about the polish.. I have a slight obsession doing my nails hehe..

Mm it's one of my dreams to have a nice imperial topaz someday, congratulations! At least the stones I've seen what is nice about them they shift color/tones but look good in both daylight and incandescent light.
