My 3 stone, James Meyer Engagement ring!

Hey, I am new to the forum, and from Williamsport, PA, the same town as James Meyer/Ann McKay. I recently got engaged back in July and my fiance presented me with a gorgeous hand-crafted ring that he helped design with Jim''s help. I was so surprised and thrilled with the ring. It is a 3.28 sapphire with two white topazes, the sapphire is my fiance''s birthstone while the white topazes are my birthstones (December and November). The ring is very meaningful, not only because my fiance decided to go with two unique stones, but the fact that Jim designed it. My family has been going to Jim for years, since his shop was opened downtown to when he returned to his studio at his home. I don''t think we have ever been disappointed with one of his pieces as well as Ann McKay. She is continuing the tradition beautifully as well. My ring is hand forged and fabricated from 18k white gold with platinum bezels and side wraps. I hope you enjoy!

I like to wear my rings kind of loose since I am an artist and am constantly using my hands...I don''t like my rings tight. Normally I wear a 6 1/2, but my fiance got this a size 7. And, yes, I am really happy with it! Sorry the pictures aren''t that great. I haven''t had time to take better ones, but once I do, I will post them!

Is that your ring that you have as your profile picture? It is beautiful! I believe my fiance saw yours when he went out to pick up mine! Jim was finishing your ring and showed my fiance how he goes about making them!

Yes! I love how light it is. I have another ring from him, an older design with a garnet, and it is just as comfortable. So glad you like yours!!!

oh...and you can''t really tell by the pictures, but the center bezel is milligrained...which I am debating whether or not to have my wedding band done with the same milligrain.

I think my JM is the most comfortable thing that I have ever had on my hand!
