My 3.28 carat asscher is here!

My ring arrived via FEDEX this morning! On the exact date Ritani said it would at checkout. I know other people have not had great experiences with them, but I ordered this setting as a temporary setting, and I love it so much that I’m just gonna keep it as is, until someday I put it in a EW Mariana

Anyway, 3.28 carat, G color, VS1 or VS2 (forgot already in my excitement lol). 8.15mmx8.15mm. The setting is the petal solitaire in 18K yellow gold. I got it in a 6.25. I can’t believe the deal I got either, I lurked for months now to find just the right one for a good price, and got the setting on sale as well.

Stunning! I love a big ol’ asscher cut. Rarely see diamonds with that cut I actually like because they’re usually on the smaller side. 8-ish mm looks amazing! You did well, it’s a beautiful ring.

I like it for that reason too! I was afraid the flaw would show (a small black speck) but I literally can’t find it with my eye! lol

I agree. I waited til I could find and afford a large enough stone, because the facets of an asscher show best in a larger stone in my opinion.

It is a flashing, hypnotizing hall of mirrors, just like I hoped. It is also very sparkly under different types of lighting. I was grocery shopping yesterday and kept getting distracted because the diamond was so glittery and beautiful.
