Pics on phone and don't do it justice! It's lovely. Wearing it with my 3ct eternity but might change that around. Not sure the prongs on setting are quite right (too big) but sill love it and will wear it a while and see whether to get changes made.

if you feel that the prongs are too big, could the jeweller thin them down without changing the integrity of the prongs?

Thanks so much everyone! It really does mean a lot to me as I like to think you diamond aficionados would rather stay politely quiet than admire a ring you don't like

The prongs are bothering me I must be honest. I'm sure I'm overly fixating but I see the prongs before the stone! My lovely jeweller told me that this setting was the safest and most classic setting (and it sits perfectly with my eternity). Now I think I should have paid a little more for custom made setting. I will speak to him on Monday and see whether he thinks the current ring can be modified or whether I will need to bite the bullet and pay for a new one.

Hi all

I thought it was worth posting more pictures because I've had the prongs modified, they were too big and this could be useful to others who had the same problem. My jeweller in London shaved them down in width and height.

Thanks so much guys! I don't know what's more exciting, my 20th anniversary or my rock. Well I do really know but I shan't say on here in case my husband ever sees

I did mean to clean my rings before posting but forgot!

Yes the prongs are sooo much better. My jeweller is a sweet guy - he was genuinely upset I didn't like them at first and turned it round within hours of me taking them in.

Re the stone, the table is larger than most would recommend on here, but it really was a case of looking with my eyes. Of all the stones I saw, this - to me - had the prettiest and most noticeable steps, was slightly larger and it is a nice white G.

I can't resist posting a couple more images since I cleaned by rings, plus cleaned my 1.3 tcw earrings too (they are H colour I think and if I'm honest are not the most amazing stones, but they scrub up well and they are nice and big!) so thought I'd add them.

Happy Anniversary!! LOVELY new ring. The cut is very obvious and attractive. Nice earrings too. There can never be too many photos, as long as you share them on PS.
