The ring is not officially mine yet. SO still has to propose but I was a very bad girl and got pictures of it...(hey! he''s had the ring now for 8 months, gotta keep the sanity somehow)

I''m posting JUST the diamond. When he proposes I''ll post the setting and all.

It is a platinum tacori setting.

Diamond is 2.50 even, triple ex, F color, SI1, GIA certified.

BUT...in my defense SO DOES know about it. I didn''t find it on my own or anything, my dad gave it back to me because SO wanted to ask dad for permission this weekend.

Thank GOD...not sure how much longer I could wait.

I will admit, being able to look at the ring has helped tremendously. It is a continuous reminder that it will happen

No kidding! I'd probably be mad as all get out having to wait that long!!

I can't wait to see more pictures. It looks lovely and I adore the prongs on the setting!

haha, I didn''t snoop...I promise! He actually asked me how everyone gets the cool arrow pictures on here and wanted me to try it so I told him the ring was out of the box and having a photo shoot with the camera haha.

Exactly!

It looks great, and I am sure there is a long story and understand you not wanting to share here, but I think it is really unfair that he has the ring and he let you know about it, even gives it to you to play with, yet withholds the proposal. I hope there is a nice, inocuous and generous reason for him waiting, but it seems sort of mean to almost taunt you with the ring by letting you see it and yet witholding the question.
