My 1.25 ct (1.57cttw) platinum e-ring w/ 3 rows micropave

Here it is! My 1.57 ct. t.w. platinum dome engagement ring custom designed with Joseph Jewelry in Bellevue, WA. Ring size is 4, though my finger size is a bit smaller (I have large knuckles!)

Center stone is 1.25 carats and measures 6.92 - 6.94 X 4.26. GIA graded with average color J and clarity SI1. Polish and symmetry are excellent, cut grade is excellent.

Pavilion angle: 41
Culet: none
Fluorescence: none

The shank is triple row micropave, with a total of 78 round brilliant cut diamonds. The little stones have an estimated total weight of 32/100 carats. Average color is G while the clarity is VS2. The shoulders of the ring measures 2.7 MM all around. With the diamonds, the ring weighs 2.6 DWT.

Pricescope was instrumental in helping my fiance and I design the perfect ring for us, so I thought I'd return the favor to other users by posting some pics!

WOW, thank you so much, everyone, for all of the nice compliments!! My fiance has really enjoyed reading them as well, as he worked very hard and saved a long time to be able to buy it for me. Now he is even more proud of his purchase .

Thanks so much!! You must be so excited to be getting your ring made!! I'm not sure about the exact cost of the whole ring. The setting cost around $3500 including the little diamonds, and the center stone was purchased online from Eternity Diamonds in New York: http://www.eternitybyyoni.com/ We took the center stone in to Joseph Jewelry in Bellevue, WA - they specialize in beautiful custom settings, and can do practically anything you can imagine! You can work with them over the internet, too. GREAT company: http://www.josephjewelry.com/

We found the process of buying a stone online and taking it in to a reputable local jeweler to have it examined and set to be the safest and most cost-effective way to get a high quality ring (for us, at least!). We were lucky in that the stone we purchased from Eternity was just as nice, if not nicer, than advertised.
