Mountings

We are looking to set my 1.57 princess cut diamond and two 50 pt. trapezoids into just a classic setting, and we can't seem to locate someplace where we can purchase just the mounting so that we can have our jeweler set the stones. Our local jeweler has shown us some mountings in books, but they all seem to have the side stones already set in them. We are looking for just 18k white gold, and well made. Nothing fancy because we want to showcase the stones. Can anyone please direct us to an online site?

Have you checked Stuller, Adwar, Jabel? Those all make settings and setting parts. Many rings do come already set with the side stones and for unusual shapes like you have mentioned, it is possible you may have to have a custom setting made since premade three stone rings will come with specific sizes for the heads of the main and side stones.
