First time I attempted this with the Ideal Scope!
Not a bad first attempt although not centered.

Note: This is not an Ideal Stone, but it's pretty good I think! Pics just don't do the thing justice!

Stupendous! Love that fire!

I have to ask...what camera and technique did you use for the close-ups?

Hey Arlington!
I think you may have helped me before on this when I just had the stone...

It's an Olympus Camedia C-4000 Zoom. I had it on Macro mode of course. I am not a pro by any means, but I just had to pic some of the better ones to show off. I am sure there will be more to come. I took a batch just a little while ago of about 20 pics, these were the best.

I tried a variety of positions in natural sunlight that was coming into my place.

Wow DancinGirl, I just love this setting. What is the wedding band going to be? Is there a matching band for this ering from Verragio?

The photos are excellent!

Hi Dancin' Girl....I'm just starting my exciting journey of buying an e-ring! I've been reading, shopping, and educating myself about diamonds for 3 weeks now and since this is my first post on PS, I thought I should say that you have one gorgeous ring on your finger!!! That is by far my favorite setting I have seen thus far! One beautiful diamond as well!

Whoa DG! What an improvement! Congrats!!!!!!

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! I love it too. From day one when I saw the original size Verragio I fell in love with it - but it was way too big for my poor size 4.5 finger! That was until I found out about their EURO collection! On their site www.verragio.com they say the Euro is for the "cost conscious consumer" - but for me, it's for the small fingered girl only! It just fits me like a glove so much better!

Good luck on your journey!

Yes there is a matching band Verragio makes for it. I do hope to get that one as well. I would like to be able to have something that will be similar to my fiance's wedding band, but it's a little too girly, so we have to figure something out.

Maybe I'll make a poll about that. Or maybe you could Mara, you are better at it!

Does the woman's wedding band have to match the man's?
I'd kinda like it to...but I guess I have time to wait and money to save! HAHA!

Wow those pictures are lovely, great detail!! That IdealScope image is pretty hot...even though the stone may not be technically termed ideal, it still looks great!

I'll jot down that poll idea for future use

Dancing girl I'm hoping for the Eng-0124 for my large finger...LOL

Enjoy it!!

Goregeous ring! I love Verragio settings!

Beautiful ring! What are the details of the center diamond?

Thanks,
Michelle

Really majestic. Beautiful setting, gorgeous stone. Congratulations!

Just beautiful! I consider Verragio to be one of the nicest designer settings, and you chose one of my favorites. Loved your pictures, too.

Great pics! I use the same camera for our appraisal services and have been quite pleased. Why is it your pics look better than mine? Kinda like cooking I think.....mine never seems as good as others! ;-) My partner also uses the Olympus and it has been a godsend. What lighting did you use for those pics?

BTW your ring is awesome. Congratulations, Cindy

WOW! Those pics are great and the ring is beautiful!

Very Classy Dg...I like the shots with the "blue fire"

Dancin Girl - AWESOME!
I'd welcome your help when I soon get to designing the setting for the stone I hope to purchase over the next 60 days. You have the utmost taste! Kudos! Frank

Wow - thanks guys! I didn't know this thread had been pulled up again!

Cindy, THANKS for your comments. I think I just used some natural sunlight that came into my livingroom through the open porch door actually. I tried a lot of different lights here at home, but the fire showed the best through the sunlight. I am by no means an expert - but I picked the best of the bunch to post here. I had a great subject to work with!

Michelle,
I had posted them in another thread of some other not so great pictures.
It's a 1.07ct, H color, SI2 Clarity, GIA Cert, Very Good all around.
I don't have a Sarin for it though.

Appreciative,

THANKS a BUNCH!! Ya, the fiance did well when he bought me EXACTLY what I loved the most. Hee-hee.

Check out Verragio's site www.verragio.com
Mine is in the Euro Collection (smaller scale side stones and rings for smaller hands/ or budget)
