When I graduated High school, my mom gave me a ring. At first it was just sentimental, since she bought it for herself when she graduated, as a kind of class ring. The center stones are garnets, her birthstone, and they are surrounded by opals. I have worn it nearly every day since and the ring has really grown on me. I know love it more than anything. It is my favorite ring and style. Problem is, I''ve never seen an engagement ring that I would like similar to it. I''ll probably wear just one ring. Does anyone know of anything similar to this?

I''m sorry that I can''t help you as to rings that are similar, but I just wanted you to know that I think that is a very beautiful ring. Your mother has good taste.

I have no idea where to find a similar ring, but wanted to say that it''s very pretty.

very pretty! i''d suggest going the custom route to make something similar.

McTeigue and McClelland has some majorly gorgeous floral motif rings, although not exactly like your moms, it is worth checking out their site. Ritani has a floral line of engagemet rings as well.

These are from diamonds by lauren, kind of similar. You can always have them make it for you

I have see recently a flower ring, but can''t recall where...

So I headed off to WhiteFlash and found they offered several right hand rings that may help you with a direction. Then I decided to peek at their pendants...and found several flower designs.

Here is one of them.

I agree with JCrow and the others that suggest some custom route. But perhaps a peek or two at other jewelry pieces that resemble your beloved moms ring flower, may give you inspiration to what you hope to achieve in your piece.

This is your classic flower shape with diamonds...you could get two to mimic your opal design...and attach them together like you are used to looking at!

Hi Bradie.manion

I don''t know if this will help you...I am attaching a picture of a flower ring in 18ct yellow gold, that my dad had custom made for me for my 21st birthday (that was a long time ago!).

Another one...Sorry about the terrible quality of the pictures...the light in the room is awful...

Ooooh, perhaps it is time to look at your flower from the side? Lookie at this one!

EDITED:
Link didn't go to the exact ring...bottom left hand corner A177.

Thank you everyone for your kind words and help. It is really neat to see all of these similar rings. Custom may end up being the best route. I love this ring, and there really isn''t a whole lot like it in custom stores, one of the reasons why I went online and found pricescope. You are all so helpful.

Naty, your ring is gorgeous!

Here''s the closest side shot I have so far. Sorry it is so blurry.
