Mom''s huge ring

A little background: I inherited my obsession about diamonds and gemstones from my mom, who has an extensive collection of jewelry. This is my mom''s 4-carat (tcw) ring that she let me wear for 10 seconds before snatching it back

It''s a bit gaudy but dang it''s HUGE! What do you guys think?

That ring is big - but it''s a clean design - I wouldn''t call it gaudy at all - I love wearing diamonds with jeans (no songs please), so I guess I''m seeing it in that context vs. black tie!

My parents don''t wear e-ring or W-bands. I think it''s a Chinese thing

The ring I showed is not an eternity. Just two rows of stones. When she first showed it to me I thought it was fake!

Funny story: My parents live in Jakarta where it''s not safe to wear expensive jewelry because people will rob you in the middle of the road in bright daylight. My mom told me that whenever she''s stuck in traffic for long periods of time, she''ll take the ring off and hide in her shoes!!

jeez, what size ar e your hands? so, i assume each row is 2 cts. i have a 5 stone two ct single row band, so one row of that ring should equal my ring, but that one row still looks gianormous on your hand! im a size 7.
