Mommy daughter bangle?

Has anyone gotten or seen any cute mommy daughter bracelets? My daughter is really into jewelry right now, she’s 3.5 going on 14 .
A lot of my friends have been buying gold filled ones on Etsy that are for mom and baby. That gave me the idea of maybe doing some sort of bangle for my daughter and I but I’d like to incorporate a stone in them (not sure what kind yet, maybe a tiny diamond, moissanite or maybe birth stone?). Has anyone seen anything like this or have any ideas? Is it crazy to get something like this for her at this age? I got lots of jewelry as a kid but I can’t remember how old I was. Would a bangle stay on her so that she needs my help to get it off? That would be preferable so that she doesn’t lose it. My friends babies wear there’s all the time and they never
take them off.

I had an adjustable bangle given to me to wear from a very young age, no stones, probably silver, with some engravings on it.

I guess I grow tired of it when as I grew older as I could not remember what had happened to it.

DK :))

What do you think about a silver bangle with a moissanite...in case it gets lost it isn't an expensive piece. Then at a birthday or special event when she is older make it in gold with a diamond or what ever to match yours.

Yes that’s what I’m thinking! I still want the stone to be super tiny as to not draw attention and because of the size of her wrist!

Bangles are lovely but cannot grow with her as she gets bigger.
I was given a charm bracelet when I was young from James Avery. I treasured it as a girl, and have continued the tradition of marking important life events with a charm. Even now I have one I have attached on the inside of my work bag. It is like carrying a little piece of home with me.
One of the charm bracelets with a remembrance charm in her birthstone would be a fun way to get her started.

That's true… I didn't think about her growing out of it. Earrings or a necklace would actually be better for that. I'm leaning toward just buying the etsy mommy daughter gold bangles for now and seeing how she does with that and if she loves in and wears it then I may do this in a couple of years!

Both of my girls have always worn a bangle since about three. Little asian gold ones that are adjustable with a small bell so cute!

I love the idea of matching bangles! Just know she'll outgrow it in 2-5 years. Were you thinking gold or sterling silver? I think a 5mm rose cut diamond for her and a 7-8mm rose cut diamond for you in SS or white gold bangles would be so adorable, but thats just my style!

I live in the culturally rich state of New Mexico and I bought this sweet Zuni bangle in SS with natural coral at an antique shop when I was still pregnant with her. She has around 20 or 22 rings now but this is her only bangle and shes so proud of it. Haha

It fit on her chubby arm at around 8 months old and still fits her now at 5 years old! There was a similar turquoise one too but her name is Scarlett so I had to get the red one obviously :twisted2:

It’s a lovely idea & I can’t waut to see them!
My daughter & I have matching solid gold golf bangles.
She got hers at 5 as she wanted one to match mine.
She has just turned ten & has never taken it off.
It will need to be cut off her now. I will get it fixed to go in her “glory box” for when she has children (she has two silver ones in there from when she was a baby and toddler).
I will get her another one when this one is removed.

I got a Hawaiian heirloom bangle as a baby. It says “love daddy” inside. Had it resized in high school so I could wear it and it never comes off. I’ve seen many ladies get one with their kid’s names on it. The mother of an old childhood friend of mine had one with my friends name on it with the intention of giving it to my friend when she was older. Maybe that could be an option?
