Hi!

My mom (82 years old) found a little jewelry bag on the road when she walked.

Inside:

1 gold medallion + qu'hier - que demain
1 pair of gold earring
1 little gold pendant with a representation of man and woman together
and....

1 wedding set!

18k white gold with a superb ~0.20ct diamond.

I think it's 4 or 4.25 finger size.

The desing look like a tulip. Wahooooo! Beautiful!

The ring is really lovely, the design is -poignant, somehow. Someone must really miss her jewellery

That''s so sad! Are you going to post an ad about the found jewelry? Something vague so you''ll know it''s the true owner if she can accurately describe the pieces?

That tulip setting is very interesting.

Think the little bag was there for a long time. It''s strange cause some pieces were visibly crushed by car but the diamond ring and the wedding band are intact. They just need a good polish. In my small village there are tons of tourists and I don''t know how to proceed to find the owner. Mom found the bag in front of a restaurant.

Hang up a note at the restaurant

Is there a local classified newspaper where you can sell things and post notices? They don''t charge much to run a small add.

I gave a call to the restaurant. They know me and I let my information in case someone look for lost jewels.

We have a newspaper who is distributed only in our area.

Could you help me with the number I can see in the setting please? I think this ring is registered but don't know where.

Here what I can see in the ER:

18k (logo?) COL 'J' (perhaps VB A) -- not sure about what is between ().

Another one clear an sure: TR 135200

aww I hope you can find the owner. Someone is probably very sad right now.

Please don't post any more pics in case an unethical person claims it and uses what you posted here as the description.
I realize that is unlikely . . . but . . . still.

Insist on descriptions of what you have not posted.

The ring is beautiful! Hope the owner gets reunited with her rings again!

No problem. They will have to describe the other jewels with details.

Someone can help me with the marks inside the ring please?

Wow what a find! I love that ring, so whimsical yet simple.

the ring looks kind of painful/pointy and I hope the rightful owners are found!

What a beautiful setting! I do hope that you guys are able to find whoever it belongs to...

Is there any sort of bulletin board in your village: grocery store, post office, library? That may be helpful too. I''m sure whomever lost it would be trying to find it and looking around........

I have just finished to post the signs everywhere.

DD would like to have this little beauty. How long is necessary to wait before considering lost?

Another question: If I can retreive the certificate, is this possible to know the owner? I'm working to find the certificate but now I'm not sure the owner's name will attach to it. I know nothing about certification sorry...

What a lovely story. I sure hope that special ring gets back home.

Lovely ring too.

Very interesting design, I hope it gets found!

what a neat setting.:)

it looks like the inside engraving is "18K (logo) COLUMBIA". I''m not 100% positive.

Wow!!! That is exactly my engagement ring from my first wedding! *shivers going up and down my spine*

We got engaged in 1978. Gold was expensive that year. My engagement ring cost $325 and the 2mm wedding band was $40. When my marriage fell apart in 2004 I pawned my rings and got $26 !!! I went home and ordered pizza with the proceeds! LOL!

what a pretty ring!
