Modified Octagonal Brilliants (Octillion)

Hi All-

Planning on upgrading my current E-Ring with a 1.5 carat modified octagonal brilliant (octillion) diamond but not much information is out there on this particular cut. Any feedback/comments are welcomed and anyone with this cut willing to post pics would be much appreciated!

I still have my octillion. I also have a superideal round....so I think I can give you a pretty balanced review. The octillion seems to have good spread (looks bigger than it is); it is also a bright stone. The octillion's main downfall is in the sparkle department. My round diamond always looks like a rainbow, giving off flashes of color. My octillions "sparkle" is just pure white. In my humble opinion, I think there are better deals to be had than a Zales diamond.
