MM setting

Do you think that the MM SunBurst setting modified to have a knife edge band would look good? Or should I stick with the original band?

And I''d leave it, but that''s because I''m not a fan of knife edge.

Technically he cannot, but I begged and begged and used a lot of flattery (well deserved of course) and he has agreed to make the setting and ship it back to Australia and I will have my diamond set here. Mark generally sets the diamond himself. I just cannot not bring my diamond back when I visit in March! But now trying to deciede on the band. I love knife egde but I am not sure about messing with the original...hmmm...

I have been searching and looking at pics and now I am worried because a wedding band will not sit flush. Do you think the design can be modified to do so? I feel like my perfect setting does not exist. Grrrrrr... I originally wanted something four prong but nothing appealed when I started looking. Why was diamond shopping so easy but setting shopping seems impossible.

the gap you''d see with the MM setting would be so tiny I personally wouldn''t worry about it. I''m also with Ellen that I''d leave the setting as is, but I''m not a huge knife edge fan either. makes finding a matching band even harder unless you want to just do a matching knife edge band, which I believe Mark makes too.

Not a fan of the Knife edge either. I think this setting is soooo pretty as is, so that''s my vote.

I''d just send an email to MM and ask him

The sunburst is really pretty not rounded. I got a knife edge Stuller as my "temp" setting and the edges were too harsh for me.
