if the color is not to far of, sure you can wear it together.
14K can be soldered to 10K.
If this is done the piece should (in theory) not be stamped 14K. If you solder the pieces together you are turning it in to one piece thus changing the pure gold content to less then 14K (meaning if you''d melt the piece into one nugget the alloy would test lower then 14K). The stamp should represent the combined maximal pure gold content or lower.
This is official business however. For your personal use nobody will bother.
