Yeah Skippy, another Libra baby in the world!!

Imagine my shock when I saw this picture of her while at a bachelorette party in Vegas this weekend. Still trying to be a cheerleader. I wanted to say ''Hey!! Not while your preggo, dork!'' But I''m sure it just looks more strenuous than it was. They must have had a bouncy bed in that hotel room.

Coolest preggo picture EVER!

Congrats G''ma!

Congratulations Grandma.....please keep the updates coming!!!

Thanks Ladies!! So much to update, but so little time before my friend gets here so we can go to the Farmers Market. So, I have stayed away from my Dad''s house ever since his death. On Thursday I had a Board meeting at one of our other Directors and he lived directly across the street. Who know? He''s lived there across from my Dad''s place for 10 years. I spotted my Dad''s complex managers who were my lifeline to my Dad when I was working. They were his guardian angels. I had to go run up and hug them both. I did it without crying. I was so proud of myself. I can''t wait to catch up with them. They got married in time, in California, to be able to remain married!! That gives me great joy.

On to the daughter. We''re so excited. She was just asked to be a maternity model for a new high end boutique called "Dress to the Nines" or "Dress for the Nines"...anyway, she goes in for a fitting today and she will be on the NBC Morning Show on 8/27 when she is 8 months preggo... So cute!!

Here''s the latest pic of her in a bathing suit last weekend. I love it!

Janice: How exciting is that!!!!!!!! You will have to remind everyone. Post a note in hangout!!!!!! She looks adorable!! I can''t wait to see her, bless her heart. You must be so proud of her.

Hey choro!! LTNS! She''s finally getting some Boo-tay!

Thanks Lori and Trillion... I am a raving Gramma without her Camera. It sucks. I really need a new laptop so that I can upload all mine.

Linda, the show will be sandwiched with the Today show...but it''s only when they break to local news that she will on T.V. At least that is my limited understanding. Either way, the clip will be on the website so I will be able to link to it. I saw the dress she is wearing. She wanted a bouquet because she said she felt like a pregnant bridesmaid. I had her DH take a pic of her in a cute business dress...sooooooooooooo cute, but likely to be to tight for her next month. The dress she is wearing is so adorable. I can''t wait to see her still modeling as she goes into her 9th month. Maybe she won''t get that "OMG, I feel like a worthless fat whale" feeling that one gets in the last month of pregnancy.

Anyway, here''s another angle on bathing suit.

Tee hee, Don''t you just love that belly????????????????????????

No joke. I love it.

I was at Costco this weekend and buying some extra groceries that I split with her because I have no use for a six-pack of organic wheat pasta. The sucky part was when I was unloading the groceries, some hulk sized green flying beetle decided it liked my yellow sweater and starting ramming me in the head and buzzing the loudest wing sounds into my head. I wish there was a video because after I was screaming and dropped my Fendi sunglasses on the asphalt, I was pissed. Then I only had one more box to get out of the cart but the damn Hulk was buzzing around my cart. I saw it land in there, but I couldn''t find it, so I was gingerly trying to walk around the cart to see if it was on the box. Then I spied it on the side of the cart near the end and the box was up front, so I dove in and the sucker woke up and attacked me. As I was screaming and running to the back seat to toss it in the car, some couple in a truck drove buy cracking up and laughing at me. I swear those bigarse beetles scare the bejesus out of me. I could have been on funniest home videos if there would have been someone to film it. I told my kid that she better appreciate the box of pasta.

OMG, I am soooooooooooooooooo glad we don''t have those up here. My brother has them where he lives in Mariposa, by Yosemite. The first time I saw them, I yelled and ran into his house. Those suckers are HUGE!!!!!!! Not to mention ugly.

Super ugly. My co-worker told me that her and her brother and cousins used to catch them and tie their legs together with long string and they would watch them fly around like a kite. Ewwwwwwwwww, so gross. She says it was a lot of fun. Who knew?

I''m so excited that my daughter is going to be on the news tomorrow morning!! It''s bummer that she has to be at the salon by 5 a.m. fully made up and then to the studio for filming. Hopefully I will have a link up so we can see her modeling that preggo belly in a cool dress.

Look at her belly. She looks like she is ready to POP.

I just bet...... you can''t wait to hold that itty bitty baby love, can you???

I know, it''s crazy. Here are some from the day before her shower that her doula took of her and her DH. I don''t have digitals so I scanned them.... I can''t believe the locations she found...it''s great.

Oh well, pics are too big and I don''t time have to resize. I will send them to myself and post later. Boo...

Okay, I wish they weren''t scanned, but here are a few from the photoshoot with her doula...and I had no idea the price of these pictures was included in the cost...Craziness. I like her preggo pictures better than her wedding ones...

Those are great pictures, MR! It is amazing how fast the time passes! I think of you sometimes because I probably will be following in your footsteps once my daughter gets engaged (hopefully in the next 4-6 months) and spending my spare time on the brides forum! Hope all goes very smoothly with the baby''s arrival!

LOVE THESE JANICE!!!!!!!!!!! She looks so beautiful and happy.

Thanks Diamondseeker! I look forward to following your MOB stories when your daughter is planning her wedding! It is stressful, but I always knew it was the necessary path for my grandchild. I can''t wait to start a Gramma thread.

Linda, I love the pictures too! I can''t wait to see the digital ones that my daughter got on the CD today. I am a bit proud of the way the shower turned out at the end. I had an idea to make body scrubs as favors but never ordered anything in time. The day before we resorted to the idea that it would be easy to make body salts and while at Albertsons to pick up Epsom salt, I found the Kerr''s canning jars with the wide mouth in the size I wanted, so I bought all of the cases. One box had silver rims, so we found a box of gold rims that fit. We spent all day making the scrubs and found some material at a quilting store around the corner from my house. I bought some pinking shears for 50% off at Michaels and then we went to town. I decided we would stack them in three and place fresh flowers on top for center pieces, but then my niece found some little rubber duckys for 50 cents a piece and we put them on top with some flowers on the lower jars. We put some confetti around them and little miniature safety pins. We decorated with some small jars and yellow flowers and some yellow and orange gerber daisies. The cupcakes were made by our friend and they were vanilla with raspberry cream filling with whipped creme topping and little animal cutouts on sticks...as well as chocolate ones with chocolate filling. We had three sandwiches on wheat, crossiant (?) and veggies wraps, a California salad, fresh fruit, and potato salad. A huge champagne punch and a fruit punch bowl and wines. It was fun...the guests got to take a jar of the center pieces home for their use...all organic raw sugar lavender and peppermint essential oils as well as brown, orange and yellow pull string ties filled with candy next to the large diaper cake. We pulled it all together the morning of the shower at a venue on the water. It was magical.

Sooooooowa, since my daughter was such a trooper and endured the most ridiculously exhausting and painful delivery, I thought it was only fair that she be rewarded today with a little treat that will be my Legacy from her and then to my new granddaughter. Can anyone guess what "Legacy" I presented her with today?

Congratulations to all Janice. No I can''t imagine what Legacy you are talking about!!!!

Thanks Linda...she''s adorable...

Hmmmmmmm, let me try and find a picture of the Legacy until I get the photos from our doula....

So far, I can''t find them online. Let me try again.

GAH!! I can''t find them.

You''d think I would be able to find a picture of something that comes in a Little Blue Box with a Large Pricetag.

I can''t find the earrings, but they look just like this Legacy ring...only they are the earrings that match the ring and look just like these. They are purdy...
