It's my first time trying to buy a diamond without seeing the physical diamond.

The diamond got a HCA score of 0.7
The AGS ideal light performance score is all 0

However, the 3D photos of the diamond look a bit milky, but the sales told me that it won't be milky (yet there will be no refund if it turns out milky or BGM)

Is there a chance the an E color VVS2 diamond with AGS light performance score of 0 still be milky? Thanks a lot!

Unable to say without seeing images/video of the diamond. I find lab stones more often deceptively off-looking for their clarity grades than natural stones

they have the 360-degree video here. I am an amateur so I can't really tell from the video :cry2:

Oh my god PLEASE do not pay that much for a lab diamond!!!!! aaaahhhh

I don't necessarily find it milky looking but it might have a bit of a faint gray tone to it. I wonder if that's what you're seeing

you get it here with 30 day return... slightly better price too...

Lol that price is either a typo or hilarious. 3k is a fair price. I don't see any issues with "milkiness" at all

Thank you all for the advices!

Unfortunately in Hong Kong (where I am located), diamonds at retail shops (both natural and lab grown) seem to be more expensive compared to other regions. The 3007 USD is not a typo :cry2:

3007 usd is totally fine. I saw 21000 USD and almost fainted haha

But going back to my original question, does AGS ideal light performance score of zero across fire, brightness, and contrast ensure that it won't be a milky diamond? Because from the photo, it looks kinda dull/opaque.

No. Cut and milkiness are entirely separate things. But also this diamond won't be dull or opaque.

It's hard to say...there are so many variables that can alter the appearance of a diamond in photos and videos. There may be a material quality issue...I've seen pretty grainy CVD diamonds get graded 000 by AGS, 3X by GIA, Ideal by IGI, and 8X by GCAL - despite being awarded higher VVS clarity grades, for example.
It would be no surprise to me to see poorer material quality HPHT with graining or clouding/milkiness/haziness also get awarded a higher clarity grade if there are no larger sizes crystal, flash, pinpoint, needle, or feather inclusions.
If you have any doubts, especially since there would not be the safety net of a return policy, then it may be best to look for alternative diamonds to pick from

That just looks like weird lighting to me in the video. I don’t think it’s “dull” IRL.

See if they'll price match to an even better price:

Thanks for sharing this site! I see that they have a good refund policy and have a return address in Hong Kong (where I am from), so I think I will buy from them.

Is this a reputable / legitimate company to buy from?

For some reason, it says 23k US dollars for me. that really shocked me. Yes, 3k is a fair price.

It’s just wacky coding on the website. If you switch between currencies you’ll see it’s supposed to be 23k hkd or 3k usd.

Based on the video I don’t think it’ll look milky in person. It’s just the lighting setup of the video.

Many on the forum have bought from loosegrowndiamond. I have made several loose diamond purchases in the US and even made a return and received a full refund with no issues.

After a week of research, I'm about to settle on this diamond for my engagement ring. Wondering if there is any problem or issue that anyone can see from the 3D video. The retail store promised they would give me a refund if there are BGM issues when the diamond arrives at the physical store from overseas. Many thanks!

I like it, but definitely wait for the experts to chime in.
You’re so close! :appl:
