I am sorry to say there is no great story behind these rings. I saw the sapphire one first and there was something about it, almost old fashioned, classic and lovely so I bought it. A few months later I came across its brother in the platinum and rubies and I had to have that one as well.

The Sapphire and Diamond band was purchased via 1st Dibs.
The Ruby and Diamond band was purchased via Joint Venture Jewelers. I was lucky to hear about JVJ in Charleston when another pricescoper Logan Sapphire visited the store and told me about it.
