Might have picked out a ring? Looking at the Artcarved Majesty...but need help!!

Well, I am trying to find the perfect ring for my girlfriend. For some reason, this ring stuck with me the whole way through my selection process. I went in thinking I would stick with a solitaire, but this was my first choice all evening.

For some reason I thought it looked a bit busy on the side, so I am considering having it cast without the center (side) diamonds. This would leave the 2 small diamonds on each side…will this look weird?? Also, what should I expect to pay for this ring in Platinum with diamonds(not the main included)? I can''t seem to find an online retailer of it...

I want to hear what some of you have to say about this ring and/or other options that would look similar. I could only find one website with a picture of it, and they only had one picture. If anyone has another they could share that’d be great…

So again, this ring but w/o the side center diamonds (just the two in the cathedral openings on each side).

Thoughts?

Personally I would leave them. They look great on there. I think they add a little something extra. There are many rings out there that have just the center stone on the side. I think that they look to plain, but thats just me.

I''m thinking of having the center one taken out...so the two side ones would be there, but not the center. I think it will make the ring look a little less "busy" from the side....It''s very hard to imagine what it will really be like though!

I just stuck the mouse cursor over the center diamond and it worked okay LOL I kinda like just having the two but I''m not sure the detail on that basket and how that would correlate

You know what you could do is put in a gemstone. Like her birthstone or yours...lol

It is a very pretty ring...I would leave all 3 side diamonds, but that is JMO. Good luck!

That''s a good point...but her birth stone is a diamond! Maybe I should leave it....I''ll have to take another look at the ring in person.

The lady told me to expect to pay $1500-$2000 for the ring...I can''t find it online anywhere to compare, so does anyone have an idea if this is wayy too much?
