I’m not much of a watch person, but I do need one for work. I could always get an inexpensive one, but why?
The Michele watches look really pretty, some with diamonds, some without. Does anyone have any of these watches, or have any other suggestions.
I need a second hand also.

For work, I would look at stainless steel, a metal bracelet and ample water resistance. A Michele watch is nice. There are many options. I would look at Joma shop or Ashford to see what you like. Also, some watches are automatic/mechanical- self winding so they never need a batter. They still need to be cleaned and oiled by a watch maker at times. They are also sometimes thicker than quartz.

I have a Michele watch with diamonds, mother of pearl face, 20210114_183648.jpg3 leather bands, second hand, and a stainless band. If interested, I can measure and post more pics

@NonieMarie it's great to see you!

@babs23r I think Michele watches are beautiful. If that's the look you love and in your price range, go for it. Another maker you might like is Longines.

I just had a look on their website and look pretty. Quite reminiscent of some of the classic designs from Cartier and Jaegar Le Coultre.

Thank you for all of your advice and links. Still on the fence.....
TGIF!!!!

Really pretty! Not sure which route I want to go....

So here is mine. I’ve had it for a long while and don’t wear it (or the Rolex) bc tho I like the look—of all watches—I find them so elegant, and feel they complete any look so that the wearer looks polished—I hate wearing them! They are heavy and cumbersome! Oh! And attention-grabbing—like from the wrong people!! Both of mine live in the bank vault and I have no idea when or where I’ll ever wear them to. Lol. But I think they are classic and will never for out of style. I also like the round deco style—which is like mine but circular CCFA77D1-90E6-4BA8-8D5F-95546582EC4E.jpeg

Great watches, but I understand your sentiments completely.
I really don’t wear watches except for work. I may just get a Bulova.....

I have one I don’t wear since I got an Apple Watch If you are interested. It might need a battery. Navy blue silicon band and gorgeous face. I think mine was $350.
