For Christmas, my husband gave me this lovely little pin from the early 20th century, which was designed for alumnae of my alma mater and made by Tiffany.

The best part is, the back has initials and a graduation year (1921), so the college archivist was able to identify the pin's likely owner.

Here's another pic:

It is enamel, in perfect condition. Here's the secret - I found it (on ebay) and said, "This is what I want!" I really didn't think I would ever find one, short of searching every antique store near the college, but I did a regular search on "Tiffany pin," and one day there it was.

For something that's 90 years old, it's in amazing condition. The safety catch on the pin mechanism doesn't work, but that's it.
