Melee sizes

Does anyone have pics and specs on the diamonds around their halos? My jeweler won't use anything under a .03 and was curious to see what my halo will look like.

I'm not sure where this came from, but it was in my diamond folder on my computer.
I think the size of the stone influences what size melee you choose for your halo.
There are lots of halos here on PS, I'm sure you'll get lots of pictures of actual rings with their corresponding melee sizes.

These are 1 mm or 0.005 ct melee. I wanted a really delicate halo. My jeweller didn't want to go any smaller and she made the right call. I originally wanted 0.8 mm melee.

I'm so glad to see this thread! I am having the exact same problem! I've been in contact with BGD about a custom halo for a cushion center. They are recommending .02 for a shared single prong halo, and .05 for a shared single prong band (like the Memoire Purity Collection.) But I wear a 6.5 ring and I think that .05 and even .07 will be too small for the band, especially if the matching wedding band were to be worn alone. I want the ring to look delicate and pretty, but not microscopic on my long fingers. I've currently gotten quotes for .05, .07 and .10 melee for the band and I don't know which one to choose! I look forward to seeing any other replies others post here.
