I took a few more pictures of the horses to share today while I am visiting with my family. Thanks again for all your kind comments!
This is the barn and paddock in the backyard at my folks'' place, affectionately called "Heaven Scent Acres". The horses and the barn kitty live out here.
Here are a few pictures of Luke and Chance grazing together. Seems like I had no reason to worry about Chance getting bullied. Mom says they have been getting along like old friends.
After I took these, I put both of them inside with some hay to nibble. I turned on their box fans because the heat index was so oppressive (105 today, icky sticky!
) and they are both getting a cool bath later tonight.
