Meet big Papa

We all have fallen in love with Sheri's Octo Babies. But my little dude was getting lonely, so I adopted one of the parents. The big brass and Blue Baroque SSP named Big Papa!

He just arrived today and he is wonderful! I just have to figure out the best way to wear him now! Thinking of making a special necklace out of brass and silver with some metallic lavender ovals. but we will see!

Apparently my octobaby has decided I am a complete idiot and he's camouflaged himself to hide from me. I can't find it! I know it's here ...

In my search, however ... well, my idea of housework has always been to sweep the room with a glance, but after feeling around in the sofa cushions, I realize that's not particularly effective.

Thanks, he is something special. Big papa and little dude have been hanging out all afternoon! They really missed each other.

I'll post neck shots as SOON as I figure out how I am going to wear him. I may string some little lavender ovals together with some pyrite beads to make him a temp home !! I'll post more later!!!

found a brassy colored chain to wear him on until I figure out a more permanent arrangement. I am wearing him long but I may wear it shorter. Thoughts.

I asked about Big Mama when I got my octobaby. Big Mama isn't in my budget.

It's a conversational piece! The tentacles seem to be in movement It looks more at home on the longer chain due to its size.

I was torn between Mama and papa. What won me over was the pearl. The FW purple pearl was stunning, but I have a soft spot for big silvery blue south sea pearls!

so I really really loved the bronze chain, but the links were too big. They would get stuck on his arm and it took a a lot of effort to remove them. I was worried a few times I would damage him. so I decided to make him a little freshwater necklace with some metallic rice pearls, and maybe get an Honora Ming and bronze chain for him in the future. The pearls just came in and I will either string tonight or tomorrow.
