Thank you for the congratulations! I wanted to go for a classic, but not common look . The choice was between the Sapphire and a sleepy Mahenge Red Spinel. My wife still wants a Spinel, so we are currently looking for one. They seem to have been more abundant a few years ago when we were looking than today, as they seem more scarce.

My ring is plain 6mm, high polish Platinum. What looks like texture in the first picture is just a reflection. My ring is no longer super shiny.



Just took this one with our iPhone. We don't have any vendor pictures of the stone from Multicolour. The pictures on the site actually weren't very good - he placed a vimeo video instead with the gemstone spinning. I no longer have the link to the video.

Congratulations on the nuptials! She has a beautiful ring. The contrast is just striking and the proportion on the halo was very well done.
