My thoughts are dependent on why you are buying this stone. If you have said why, in your many treads, I think I have missed it.
Can you remind us why? Do you plan on setting it in a piece of jewelry? Do you just want it so you can have a colored stone
to play with. Are you looking at it as an investment piece (bad idea)? Are you looking for beauty? Are you looking for rarity?

Actually, I just want to buy a green diamond, I have got yellow, orange diamonds, just want to collect a green one in my jewelry box. ;-)
I plan to get a ring setting.

Ok, got it...then I would buy the one that is "prettiest" to you. You may want to stay in the same color tone as the rest of your stones.
(not sure if tone is the right term here. What I'm saying is if your other stones are all on the darker side then go with the darker green.
If they are on the lighter side then go with the lighter green...

I'm sorry to say that I* dont find either of them all that appealing. :(sad

What about this...its faint yellow-green. It doesnt look very green though but I do find it attractive. It's not anywhere close
to a carat though but the price is only $1260

Can you order both the ones you are looking at and return the one you like least?

I know you were looking at "orange" at one point. I like this one better than the 2 greens. Its a .7 and is Fancy Intense Orange Yellow.

Here is another deep orangy color

Small brownie, orange, yellow but pretty IMO

This is a beautiful stone if you dont have any of this color. Over a carat and in your price range. With a lot of light on it the effect
is light orange on my screen.

A large 1.26 orangy brown in your price range! Video looks kind of brown/yellow on my screen though.

OK, I'm done posting...

Hi, tyty333,

Thanks so much for your links! All these are wonderful. What you suggested fancy deep orange brown is quite good, cheaper than fancy deep brownish orange   Have a nice day!

I was going to suggest you go for the second one... but it appears to be unavailable, no idea what the price was compared to the other - I would assume a lot higher?

Greens generally show much less colour intensity than other fancy colours, so deep is a good choice if you want to colour to really stand out. If you didn't buy this stone yourself, then I'm guessing somebody saw it on your post and snapped it up.

Hi, how do you think about the big feather on the surface?

I think they were both priced in the low $3k-ish range if I remember correctly.

Well the feather was the thing that struck me when I followed your link and looked at the diamond 360degree view. It is a large inclusion.
However, taking a second look, it appears that the feather is the only visible inclusion in the stone. The rest looks to be very clean.

The feather, therefore, is what makes this stone affordable to you. It brings the stone from quite possibly a VVS to an I1. In my opinion the feather is not going to cause damage (but I'm not an expert, just opinionated), but you will see it every time you look closely at the diamond.

The decision has to be yours. If the company offers a no-questions-asked return policy, then wait to receive the stone and decide for yourself. Just make sure you spend lots of time with the stone in different lighting conditions before you decide.

Since you appear to just want to own a green stone, then I don't see the harm in purchasing this as I guarantee you that green stones are fascinating to own and look at! Not knowing your financial situation, though, I cannot specifically recommend it for you.

You should be aware that buying this stone is not an investment. You will not necessarily be able to sell it without making a loss in the future. It might happen, but it certainly might not.
