Question for the experts out there...In a three-stone ring, will the difference be seen if the center stone is a G and the side stones are an H or an I. Should all three be the same???

For a 3-stone ring it is ok for the side diamond to be one color grade off the center but two would be to much. If you can pull it off, try to make all three the same. Another thing, if your center diamond is a very well cut diamond like Ideal or H&A, don't just get any diamond for sides. They must also be very well cut.

Thanks Dimonbob. It's nice to have things explained in such a clear and easy to understand way. It's amazing the amount of information available here! We (the consumer) are no longer at the mercy of the seller. If you cannot make all three the same, should the side stones be one color higher or lower (does that make sense??)
Thanks again!

I agree with Bob. Try to look for F-H stones cut like the center stone... Actually it doesn't matter if they are one grade higher or lower, especially if they are small-ish...
