This is a custom lan.bo4 setting. I req mounting fit 9.3mm cushion. Upgraded gold to 18kyg with no 2 tone and no diamonds. My local B&M set it for me.

ZB - excellent job. I tend not to like solitaires because they remind me too much of engagement rings and/or because settings often look like cheap rings. But that custom setting is so much finer than Lan.bo's original setting and the ring is truly understated elegance. I think there will be a rush on Lan.bo orders now...

ETA: Oh, duh, its also because its a cushion cut...

Thank you for your wonderful compliments.

I love yellow gold. I decided on it after drooling over so many forums with green CS contrasting with yellow gold settings . Since this gem was about 3carats didn't want diamonds to distract from the green tones and cushion cut.

I am head over heals in love with they way the gem turned out!!!

Because I Love the unmatchy sets and mixing golds look....this is the combo i wear.

Athena- Thank you for the compliments! You would think finding the perfect gem is hard but locating the Perfect setting is even more difficult! I was stalking ebay till the wee hours of the morn trying to get this setting just right!

Its funny that you say it came together "so quickly". You are so right! LOL! Its cause I am sooooooo very extremely impatient and relentless...I was on a mission!!

Shiney you are so encouraging and supportive!!! I have large nuckles so my hands look so massive to me. Ring is size 7.5 and gem is 3 carats, I was questioning the gem size ratio for my hand. (if it was too small or not) I appreciate your comments, you really put me at ease. Thanks a million!!

dragonfly-Thank you very very much! I just love this gem! I can't stop staring at it! When the light hits it, the scintillation is out of this world!!!! It is sooo soooo bright!!! The photos don't do the gem justice. Thank you again!!!
