Approached several agents regarding Chubb insurance who told me they no long write stand alone policies. Preferably, I would like a standalone policy versus a rider to my renters insurance. From what I''ve read, it sounds like Chubb and Jewelers Mutual are the way to go but are there any other suggestions? Is it worth switching my renter''s insurance to Chubb to get a policy on the ring from them? Obviously there is a cost/benefit analysis, but didn''t know how much the intangibles of the Chubb policy was worth.

I believe there is a limit for Chubb to underwrite policies, and if you can break the $20k mark they should not refuse you for not having any other policies with them!
