martini earrings..

For those of you who own a pair, how comfortable are they? Most importantly, do any of you wear them to sleep. I am considering a pair, but I thought I read somewhere they can make your holes bigger. Oh, the setting would be from WF, if that makes any difference.

then again mine are small at .33 each and no I haven't noticed them stretching out my earholes and mine were tiny as they were pierced with a suturing needle 35 years ago! Oh and they are extremely comfortable- I can't feel them at all.

hi goth! i own two pairs of martinis. one is 0.33cttw and the other is 1.5cttw

i don''t sleep with any of them on because i find sleeping with any type of earrings bother me. small, large, medium, martini, 4 prong, 6 prong, whatever! it all bothers my ears when i''m sleeping.

but i''ve heard from many ladies here that their studs don''t bother them at night (hrm....that sounded kinda weird....lol...)

if you are asking about the comfort regarding the martinis, they are extremely comfy, plus they make the diamond look like it''s floating there on your ear! like there''s no metal behind it!

as for the part about making your hole larger. i''ve never heard that. it hasn''t happened to me.

if you contemplating about getting a pair, i say go for it! you''ll love them!

I wear my WF martini studs to sleep every night. They are .70ctw and don''t bug me. They are very comfortable.

I have slept in my martini settings for more than 2 years now with no problems.

I wear 16-pointer martinis in my second holes and sleep in those. When I had my .55 studs, I slept in those in my first holes with no problems.

Neither set of piercings has gotten larger from the martini settings, and both piercings were done in the store with the piercing gun.

I have a pair of 75 ctw martini studs that I wear in my 2nd holes. I sleep in them every night and they have not streached my holes at all. (I also wear the WF huggies everyday in the lower holes and sleep in those as well)

I usually take my earrings out but on several occasions have fallen asleep in them (they are .4 each). They are certainly comfortable to sleep in. I haven''t had any problems with them stretching out my hole and I wear them pretty much every day (for the past 2 years).


They are GORGEOUS...no worries.

Thank you all for replying! I really wanted to know if they would be comfortable to wear to sleep. I usually leave my earrings in, and only change them when I want a different pair or if they need cleaning. Yay!

I asked my FI... She''s had her WF handmade martini earrings (1.8 tcw) for 4 days now, and hasn''t taken them off yet... Says they''re sop light she doen''t even realize theyre there... She loves them...

Make sure you get the handmade ones from them vs the machine made ones... the handmade ones are amazing.

Deco....I really love them except the way they are set. I wanted them to be worn square, if that makes sense. I got them from e-bay...right before I found PS. One thing about those step cuts, they sure get dirty fast!

I have the machine made martinis from WF...what is the difference with handmade? More delicate prongs?

yeah, i think they are much more delicate Plus less metal around the back. They really hug the diamond more... You basically dont notice the metal once they are in the ear....
