I just put down a deposit on this ring. I know my GF will love it--it''s a near-perfect match for her stated tastes.
I just needed to tell someone about my purchase because I''ve been very secretive about this whole process. Thank you, PS Forum, for helping guide me through this process!
Can I just tell you too, that Martin Flyer is a great company to deal with. I bought a MF ring from Signed Pieces and brought it to a local jeweler for sizing and it ended up they
totally screwed up the ring. I called MF and sent the ring to them and they totally remade it for me. They were so very nice, and they dealt with the jeweler who paid for the new
ring in full. They could not have been nicer and more helpful. I wouldn''t hesitate to buy anything made by them. They were great.
Your ring looks lovely and I am sure your girl will love it. Can''t wait to see the hand shots.
Thank you all for the comments. I will post with some handshots when I have the ring in my possession.
I''m getting even more excited as I hash out the finer details of the proposal. I will most certainly have to come back again after all is said and done.
The ring is beautiful, I love three stone rings, I have one myself but no halo and very simple. I think they are so classic. When are you proposing? We''ll all be waiting for handshots!
When I was at a local jewelry store they had MF rings. I didn''t know what they were at the time and was so drawn to them! The craftmanship on them is just beautiful and I''m sure that your GF will love the ring!
Unfortunately, Martin Flyer got the order wrong the first time. I have no idea why. Because of that, I will be proposing with a stunt double--the ring my jeweler has in-store. However, it is no less beautiful than the one that ultimately will make it onto the finger of my significant other. I do hope that it won't be slipping all over due to incorrect sizing. But that's just a minor detail, I suppose.
I have hired a photographer to document the whole ordeal, and I anticipate some good handshots from it.
Thanks for the update! Poo on them for messing up, but at least you found a solution.
I wanted to tell you that I tried on a three-stone like that the other day and it was AWESOME blingtastic and gorgeous. I loved it! If I thought I could rock it I would. I am still tempted.
