Married/Engaged in early 20''s?

My father''s parents were 17 & 18 when they got married. They were married for over 50 years when Grandma died of cancer.

My mother''s parents were late teens/early 20s when they married. We just celebrated their 50th anniversary with them in May. They are still very happy together.


I don''t think it works this way for everyone. There are some couples who don''t make it at any age.

Married at 20 years old in l980. Still married, 5 kids later and head over heels in love with my husband. I think it is going to work out!
