marquise too deep???

Hey everyone this is my first post and I have just started looking for a diamond to replace the chip in my wedding set. I have really foud this site helpful. Here''s what I am looking at right now.
0.51 CT
Color G
Clarity VS2
Dimensions 7.19 - 3.83 x 2.87 mm (something I know very little about right now)
Total Depth 74.9% (seems a little high?)
Table Width 56%
Crown Height 14%
Pavillion 49%

Girdle very thick, faceted (too thick?)

any help would be great I love learning new stuff and I really would like a nice diamond. The one I am wearing was bought by my husband when I was 17. We have been married 12 years in March and we want a diamond as great as our relationship.

What are you looking for in terms of color, clarity, size, length to width ratio (do you like a fat or skinny marquise?), and price?
