Hope I didn''t post this twice!

We''ve been lurking for a while and have learned much from this site so far. Would be interested in opinions on the following Marquise:

EGL (not US) from October 2003

1.34 E SI2
Total Depth: 62.1%
Table Width: 52%
Crown Height: 17%
Pavillion Depth: 41%
Girdle: Thin, Faceted
Polish: VG
Symmentry: VG
Culet: None
Graining: Nil
Fluor: None
B&M - $5,000

Thanks!

What are the dimensions [l, w, d]?

A non-USA EGL SI2 makes me nervous. I assume you have seen it. Is it eyeclean? In actuality, it is probably in the I clarity range. The E color may also be inflated. I would have it looked at by an independent appraiser to determine the color/clarity if the diamond something you find to be beautiful. This will ensure you are not overpaying.

Sorry I missed that! It''s dimensions are 11.41 x 5.59 x 3.47.

It seems to be eye clean. We looked at it for quite some time and couldn''t see any of the inclusions (one very small dark spot and clear crystals) unless we used the 10x loupe. It looks great to me but I''m clueless with jewlery. There was another stone that had a GIA cert but I didn''t care for the shape - it was too narrow.

Thank you. In general, how much are appraisals?
