Mark Morrell "Flame" vs. "Torchiere"

Maybe I am missing it but what is the difference between the two settings? I have looked at the website http://www.mwmjewelry.com/ several times and I can''t figure it out.

The Flame has a slightly knife-edge shank and the Torchiere has a rounded shank.

the torchiere also tapers in towards the diamond. you can see that better when the ring is on one of those cloth ''fingers'', otherwise the back of the shank disguises it. i think some PSers have the torchiere and you can see the taper from their handshots.
