Mariah is engaged to billionaire James Packer and supposedly sporting a whopping 35ct stunner! Anyone have any pictures? I'm dying to see this thing! Pure curiosity.

This is what a reported $7.5 million dollar 35 carat stone with small sides looks like, it must be near flawless D or an E because for that amount of money I was surprised that up close, for an EC it really doesn't look that big, maybe it's an Asscher cut, it's hard to tell in the few close up pics of it so far....

WoW! Definitely huge and gorgeous, but I agree, it doesn't look like 35 carats. The one article linked says 30, but still, I don't know.

I love it. Classic design. It might be type IIa diamond which drives up the value. It does look smaller than Kim K's cushion but we don't know finger sizes.

Amazing ring! She is such a talented singer. Her voice is just beautiful. Each of them has been divorced twice - I really hope they can make this work and find some lasting peace and happiness.

The first photo in the link I looked at showed Mr. Parker's face at a bit of an odd angle and appeared to capture him mid-way through blinking. An issue with the photo as opposed to the subject; although, I believe the 'subject' in these photos was considered to be Mariah Carey.

I wish the couple many years of continued love and happiness!

And I'm thankful that I don't have anyone snapping photos of me and plastering them all over the internet, TV and other media! Yikes!

Asscher is just an emerald cut that is square.
All 4 sides of an asscher are the same length, or very nearly the same.

This is an emerald cut.
