Hi Skippy. How are you doing? How nice that you had 70 degree weather today. Do you get out and go for a nice ''Skippy?'' We had mid 40''s but the wind made it pretty chilly. I hope to see the comet tonight; it''s clear here but I am very sleepy so I don''t know if I will stay up long enough to catch it. My cold came back big time so I took some anthihistamine and it is making me very tired. Rats. This coming Wednesday is the last class of course 1. We are doing a cake with roses, a shell border, some writing, some sweat peas and a bow. I want to try cupcakes again so I can make them better than my first batch. That tube frosting I tried to use was difficult for me to squeeze out of the tube. I want to try the big swirls on cucpakes like they do in the cupcake thread and make a few teddy bears that don''t look spooky. Ha Ha. Grandma keeps asking for chocolate cake so maybe I will make some chocolate cupcakes and decorate them and take them out to her. Next month is course 2 and I am thinking about buying styrofoam pieces to frost (that would save me a lot of time) and use the boughten frosting. I can''t believe how much time it takes me on the weekend to get ready for class then on Tuesday I have to frost the cake or cupcakes before class. It interferes with my prized time on Pricescope!

Aww, the flowers you are making sound lovely, sounds like it is keeping you very busy! hehe Aww, that would be sweet if you brought your grandma chocolate cake. How is she doing? I have to say I think you are very cheerful and you are in a class of her own as far as happiness goes, that it is to be admired!!

Hi Skippy, I am glad you are doing great. That is wonderful the weather is nice enough for walks outside. Yippee! I think my cold could be a sinus infection but don''t know for sure. We only have one health clinic open on the weekends here and it''s always insanely busy. If I am still bad Monday I will try to get in somewhere. My eyes look like I am having an allergy attack and my nose is really itching - not typical cold symptoms.

Marty is cooling flank steak for us tomorow so I''ll have him just cook and do dishes.

I am having fun trying to make the flowers but I do need more practice. It is keeping me very busy but I enjoy the class. I am pretty uninterested in frosting though - that keeps me out of eating it anyway. Grandma might have pnuemonia - she is wheezing, coughing and really tired. They took her for a check x-ray but we haven''t heard anything as to results from it. She is pretty resigned to never going home again which I think is best. I don''t know when the in-laws will be home. She keeps asking and says they should be here in a few weeks but they generally don''t come back until mid April so I don''t know if they will come back early. She will have them sell her house. I have not done any sewing or knitting. Darn. I have a vest I want to finish knitting but just don''t get to it. What project would you want to make?

Thank you so much for the lovely compliment about being happy. I try. I was kind of a depressed person a long time ago but I finally realized I was about as happy as I made up my mind to be - that usually works for me anyway. Also, just the dramatic changes in my health and life - how could I not be happy? Plus I have great friends like you on Pricescope.

Are you my cheerful twin? I''m terrible at Photoshop, but we could try to draw faces on the gems or make gem people and animals.

That sounds really fun! I must be your twin in may ways as I am pretty bad at Photoshop as well but it''s the only photo software program I have on my laptop so I just have to use it. I have figured out how to crop, adjust light and color and resize images. That is about it. I hope I am awake enough tomorrow to give it a try.

Hi Lisa. Thank you so much for the kind words. I try to remain positive. Marty does a great job cooking. He marindaded the steak for about 7 hours. It turned out great. The sandwiches out of the leftovers were really tender too.

Grandma is not doing well. She was really confused today and couldn''t remember how to push her button for assistance. She is still coughing pretty bad. They called her doctor today to tell him she was confused. I am not her care giver but go see her as often as I can.

My sinuses give me fits because of allergies but this crud has really gotten my attention.

Hi Skippy. My sinuses are better thanks and I am 1/2 done with my antibiotics. Yippee.

We were near 50 today but it was windy. Poor grandma was very confused today. She didn''t remember how to use her buzzer. She didn''t answer her phone when I called her last night (I didn''t go out to see her because I had class). The nurse told me tonight they did call her doctor today to tell him. Thanks for thinking of her.

Do make a skirt. That sounds fun. It is almost nice enough to wear dresses again. I love spring colors.

Grandma is really failing right now and it''s hard to see. I was glad Marty didn''t go out with me tonight - he would have been really upset.

I would agree 5th wheelers are very cozy inside. We had a pull trailer and it was so cheaply made and not very comfortable. The 5th wheeler doesn''t feel like camping at all - it''s like a motel on wheels. A fireplace would be nice. Ours does have a TV, DVD player and stereo. We dry camp a lot so the only way I could cook something in the crock pot would be to run the generator all day. I use it at home though on cold, snowy days. It''s awesome to come home to a warm supper. I bet it''s really nice to have supper ready when you come back to the trailer. We cook everything on our gas grill. BBQ is awesome. The guys would have fun and we''d have a lot of fun. I could see you pad in person.

Well tomorrow I am watching my nephew and then we are going to try this new little French restaurant for fun. I hope we have nice weather this weekend, if so then walking with my friends. True. lol to the lb. hehe
